The Lithium-ion Polymer intelligent battery has been carefully designed to maximize the Evolveʼs flight time to approximately 24 minutes in optimal conditions.
While balancing cells for optimum charging, the battery also communicates various key information suchas cell capacity, voltage for each cell, global voltage and temperature with the flight controller. During each flight, the battery displays the exact percentage of battery left on the front of the battery and will also communicate vital information to the ground station.
To extend its global life span, the battery will discharge after a certain period of non-use.
NB: When travelling with Lithium batteries, please always check with your airline for particular requirements. According to the FAA, “Spare (uninstalled) lithium ion and lithium metal batteries must be carried in carry-on baggage only. When a carry-on bag is checked at the gate or at planeside, all spare lithium batteries must be removed from the bag and kept with the passenger in the aircraft cabin”

What is the capacity of the Evolve battery?

How long will it take for the battery to fully charge?
It will take approximately 60 min to get both the drone and the controllerʼs batteries fully charged.
Why is there just one charger with my Evolve?
Evolveʼ smart charger is capable of charging both ground station and aircraft batteries at the same time.
Can I fly Evolve if the battery is not fully charged?
While you technically can fly with a battery that is not fully charged, we strongly advise you to always use fully charged batteries. Not only this will extend your flight time but also reduce the risk of unexpected and premature low battery state that might trigger an emergency landing.
