Description
This set of 4 filters inclues a Circular Polarizer filter (CPL) and 3 Neutral Density filters (ND8, ND 16 and ND 32). The D263T glass used to produce the filters offer higher light transmission and is finished with excellent coating.
This circular polarizer is used to remove the glare and any unwanted reflection from non-metallic surfaces like water. It also deepens the blue sky and reduce the haze making it filter of choice for all lanscape photographers.
Neutral density filters reduce and modify the intensity of all wavelengths, or colors, of light equally, giving no changes in hue or color rendition. When attached to the camera’s lens, the ND8/16/32 filters, with an optical density of 1.5/1.2/0.9 respectively, reduces the amount of light coming into the camera by 5/4/3 stops respectively allowing for slower shutter speeds and extended exposures. This also allows you to take full advantage of the f2.8 even in highly luminous environments. Neutral density filters are used extensively to improve landscape photography and are useful in bright light conditions to help prevent overexposure.
